2001 S60 T5 - Manual Shift

I was wondering if it is required to change oil in a manual gear box, if so what the frequency, and does the trans axle need to have oild changed?

This forum is for the brand new S60 but the question is general so here it is: No recommended interval by Volvo but it is a good idea to drain it every 60K-75K miles. The gearbox incorporates the final drive and it has one oil sump so draining via the large hex plug on bottom will get it all.
