How to Fix a Broken Signal Arm

A week ago my car's turn signal arm broke off. I ordered a part from Volvo Wholesale (which I found to be the cheapest site.)
It cost me $80 for the unit, (because I had cruise control, which most people do)
Anyhow, a relatively easy fix. It didn't take me long at all. I did "jimmy rig" a temporary fix for the signal as I was concerned about my safety (moreso how dumb other drivers can be...)
Here it is! Comments welcome.

Locate the shroud. (If you can't, Quit now.)<br />Take out the 4 screws at the bottom (T15)<br />Make sure the steering wheel is straight ahead, if it isn't already. <br />Extend the wheel all the way out, and down, take the top portion off.<br />Put the steering wheel up, take off the bottom portion, careful of the ignition cylinder, it should come off after some moving around

Next, remove these two bolts, the bottom one has a ground wire on it, make sure you don't for get it when you are re-assembling.

next, remove the two electrical harnesses, and take the unit off, I took mine off, and temporarily replaced it with a screw driver, and when you get the new one, re-assemble in reverse.

If anything from this project, i've learned, and have been reminded of how hard Volvo makes it to get things apart, I struggled with these wires for what seemed like ages.

Thanks, I know its not much, but at least the "no experience members" now have something to build off of.
I hate to see or hear people giving all their money to the stealership!
