Volvo Navigation Hacks

I have a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 that has a navigation system in it, but the DVD changer is broken. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good hacks for this system. I am probably going to end up putting in a double-din navigation system in, and it just seems like a waste of equipment. If you haven't seen any hacks on this system do you have any good ideas? Or does anyone know if the monitor can be used to output other video?
