The navigation system powers on, pops up but will not read the disk.
I have cleaned the disk, it does not look perfect, but not really scratched either.
Really, the nav system is not a make or break on buying the car.
I have a TomTom if I want it, and now that Google maps has turn by turn instructions
on my Iphone, that is all the navigation I need.
How do I turn the system off? I would prefer that it does not pop
up and sit there telling me that the disk can not be read and reinstall the disk.
Found a video on youtube that said to hit the back button on the steering column, but that did
not seem to work either.
Help????????
Follow on question.. It has the Volvo Ipod adapter with the 30 pin apple
connector. I can not get this to play my Iphone 5S, when I plug it in
using the Lightning to 30 pin apple connector.
EDIT TO ADD: I was able to get the Ipod adapter to work with my wifes
Iphone4. So I will eventually figure out the 5s.
EDIT TO ADD AGAIN: Was able to figure out how to turn nav unit off.
Held the enter button down and unit powered off and lowered into the dash.
FYI... Reason for questions, I had no manual to go by, but trial and error, figured it out.
