M66 Reverse Lock out Solenoid Question

I have a 2001 V70 T5M that the tranny (M56) is dying a slow death. I got my hands on a M66awd out of a 2004 S60R pretty cheap along with the shifter, the shifter cables, the angle gear, and the brake calipers. The plan is to install this unit in the 2001 V70 but i have run into a problem with the solenoid on the M66 shifter. It appears that there is some CAN signals need to go to this module to make sure that the reverse solenoid keeps the you from shifting into reverse when looking for gear 5 or 6. I have tried to search here for a solution to make this work but have not found anything in the history. Anyone have any idea out to get this to work in a 2001 V70? Thanks.
