oil recommendation for V70XC

Right now it doesn't leak at all with dino. If I put synthetic in and it does leak, I assume I can remove it and switch back to dino and the leak should go away?

Not exactly. If by some chance the synthetic cleans out a bunch of debris causing your seals to leak you may have a leak problem until more debris can build up and fill in the seals.

If you are that worried, stick with quality 5-30w dino and change every 3k.

I wouldn't loose any sleep either way.
