Very small favor needed- master window switch parts '98 XC70

Took the switch apart to clean contacts (which I learned to do from this excellent site ) and the small metal posts that push on the plastic switch actuator dealio shot out into the stratosphere. I need at least two of those posts and the small springs underneath them. They pull right out of the switch mechanism with a pair of pliers. To clarify, when you push the switch this post pushes on a piece of white plastic which pushes the contacts together. If you have a dead switch laying (lying?) around how about dropping those little parts in the mail to me? I will make a $10 donation to the board in return. Dave-there's a 98 s70 in a yard in Durham. I'm coming to Boone on Saturday to tour App State...I might be able to grab you the switches.

Wow that would be awesome. I am having a conversation with one guy on Craigslist who says he has one in Charlotte and will ship it. Trying to ascertain if he is legit. Since I wrote this it has become apparent that I need the whole switch. One part of it that controls one of the back windows is shorted out.

I will send you an update when I make a decision on whether to send this guy money sight unseen. Might also be worth sending IPD $140 for a new OEM one.

Thanks a lot for the offer! What are you thinking of studying at App State? I graduated in 96 with an English degree. It was a great decision to go to App.
