Power loss on acceleration - 2005 S40

i've a 2005 55 plate s40 with just over 50k has just developed power loss on acceleration but tick's over ok, but press the pedal and the engine stutters and the rev counter stutters to show there's a problem

Hi..

Im here looking for answers to a prob with my GF's car...but

On my Astra, I had the same issue...turned out it was a smashed up Sparkplug....Detonation wear!

Have a look at them..assuming your not on diesel?
