98 V90 Turn Signal Intermittent
My V90 turn signal only works intermittently. I found several places that sell replacement switches, however, I could not find a schematic (or installation instructions) and I'm not sure whether this is a job for a do-it-yourself backyard mechanic or if it really needs to be done by a pro. Any documentation/advice is appreciated.

Both sides refuse to flash or which side?
No flash or is it fast flashing?
Do the emergency (hazard) flashers work?
If it is both sides then turn the hazard switch on and off several times and see if that has any effect.

Jimmy 57 - Yes, both sides flash intermittently (sometimes they don't work, sometimes they do), but they're not fast flashing. Thanks for the tip, I'll try flipping the hazard switch.

If it is anything like my 1988 760 which uses the same hazard switch as the 92-94 960 the flasher relay is part of the hazard switch. My turn signals would work intermittently at times until they completely quit. I replaced the hazard switch and never had any more issues.

If they just don't work outright (rather than sticking on), look to your ignition switch. Next time they act up, jiggle your key a bit and see if they function again.
The 960/V90/S70/850 all use the same ignition switch, and it stops to spring back or make good contact after many years of use. Replace the electrical portion and you should be good to go, if this is indeed what's causing your problem.
