S40 T4 engine quierys

Hi, i dont actually own a Volvo but am in great need of some info, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I currently own a (99) 2.0L 16V Renaul Laguna Mk1 and intend to put the 2.0L Volvo S40 T4 engine into my Laguna.

Some of the engines used in the 2.0L 16V Lagunas are Volvo built and supposedly the S40 engines have the same engine mountings.

Im just about to go through with payment of an engine and wanted to ask a few things to make sure everything is spot on, its a tricky situation as obviously you guys are Volvo enthuisiasts and more then likely dont know Renaults that well.

1. Does anybody know if the engine mountings are the same ?

2. Will i have any problems with the ECU and Volvo immobilizer (as far as Im aware, like the Renaults the volvo keys have a transponder in for the immobilizer that links to the ECU)

3. If i will have problems with question 2. how can i get past them ?

Any other tips and advice would be great!

Come on guys, surely theres somebody with mechanical knowledge of the S40 engine, im buying it on Monday Night so speed is of the essence.

Well you lot were totally useless, i`ll remember not to join this forum if i buy a volvo in the future.
If you asked my club a question there would have been at least 8 replies by now giving some type of help.
Never mind theres obviously nobody with a decent amount of know how, here.
