how do i remove the door panel?

Seeking advice on how to remove the door panel near the front passenger-side mirror. Specifically, I need to locate and repair the source of a vibration/rattling noise in this area. After 4 years and about a dozen "cannot replicate problem" comments by the local dealer, I'm ready to try myself (yes - the warranty just expired and now Volvo won't touch it).

Without creating any additional noises, I'd like to try to get in there, and hopefully fix it, if possible (the dealer refused to take the panel off the door, stated it would be too difficult??). Is this a reasonable task to even attempt? Any words of wisdom most appreciated.
