ABS Problem
ABS Problem
I Have a 2000 volvo s40 and the abs module is going bad, can anyone tell me where the abs module is located so I can replace it? And how can I avoid using my whole paycheck for a new one? Thanks!

The abs module is placed on the left side of the car (passenger) near the front headlight.
You will see a block with hard brake lines going into it, the module is the black box close to the fender.
I am not 100% sure about the bolt sizes, but I believe its a 10mm to loosen the nuts on the junction box, which you may raise a bit to access the Torx 20 bolts that hold the module in place, remember to remove the plug.
I can take a pic tomorrow with light if you need more details
