Hi, I am having poor throttle response on my 2000 S80. In park I smash the pedal down it might climb to 3k rpm's then slowly climb further. The pedal seems to work only up to 25% pushed. The car has no power. The transmission jumps gears. It will drop down and back up and sometimes miss and just rev. I know it needs a shift solenoid too, but that doesn't have to do with the poor acceleration. So I have a feeling its the very problematic throttle body but I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.
Also, would just a computer software upgrade maybe help?
Thank you
Bad throttle body or ????

it was the air flow sensor, I unplugged it and it ran like a champ.

I tried to clean it a few weeks ago with the proper sensor cleaner without any luck , so I just ordered one last night off Ebay for $42. I've read nothing but good reviews about the sensor cleaner thats why I ruled it out as a problem after I shot it with that. I forgot it did run better after unplugging it, but I never took it for a drive unplugged.
