Hopefully Matthew will see this plea b/c he recently shared how he got tired of replacing those flimsy little hoses and elbows (that I think you can get from ipdusa.com) and instead he just uses a thick walled hose you can get at Home Depot by the foot for $1.40 per foot. I'll see if I can find the post and copy a link here, but meanwhile, you might try taking a sample of your vac hose to HD and see what they have. I plan to.

sounds good, i only want to do this once! kinda makes me sad i have to do it at all with only 80k miles...my care before was almost 20 years old and i never had to replace any hoses..if they can do it any car company should!
side note after some searching i found a kit with silicone hoses but they are around 60 bucks, which might not be bad if they would hold up, thoughts?

Silicone will last much longer than the rubber hoses, plus add a little color under the hood, if you're into that. I got the blue "Volvo 850 StylinKit" from www.stylinmotors.com and they're pretty good - thick, too. The hoses came wrapped in cling wrap with a number written on them, which I had to figure out on my own was the diameter in inch-decimal format, so do a bit of Google'ing to figure out which hose replaces our metric ones! Plenty of hose left over from the job, so you could probably sell it to a buddy for a few beers or what-not.

Stylin Motors has very erratic customer service, on Volvospeed people simply refuse to buy from them any more. Google "stylin motors problems" for a read.
I am pretty sure FCP is selling silicon hose kits if you want to go that way.

I bought from Verocious a couple years ago and the shipping was quick and the quality was fine. The hoses have been holding up well.

I agree with Bulk Hose, but recommend you buy from an Auto Supply Shop, as you want "Oil and Fuel Resistant" hose. Plain "Rubber Vacuum Hose" will deteriorate under hood rather quickly, and has typically been reserved for windshield wiper and under dash applications....but take a small sample of each size you'll be needing (there are lots of sizes). Also get a Splice Assortment, which will allow you to "fix" a bad spot when the entire length of hose is inaccessible. Pick up some "Spring Clips" for the sizes you purchase...All this stuff is pre-packaged at that Auto Supply.
