low beam bulb failure - 2004

Post by netasp »

Hi Guys,

My mechanic was trying to calibrate both of my lights as he said they were looking down, he managed to calibrate of them but on my way home, it went out with a "Bulb failure low beam" warning appeared on the dashboard, the passenger side which is the bi-xenon light went out, and then if I turn off the lights and turn them back on, it will work for a few minutes before going out again and the warning message appear again.

1 - Is it consequential with what the mechanic was trying to calibrate it? I think bad fuse will not let the light come back on again will it? My DTR are running just fine and everything else is working.

2 - What do you think? I just want to have some info before going back to the shop and start asking me to replace this and that.
3- Anyone knows the part# for those lights?

Thanks
