First time on forum so this may be answered somewhere I haven't yet discovered.
Several litres of clean water (no antifreeze) on passenger side floor and rear.
Assume a/c condensation tank is plugged and overflowing.
Where is it? and how can I clear the blockage?

The drain, there is no tank, is on the RH firewall down low. It is a rectangular hose with a downward pointing crook. Usually a short length of a rigid wire stirred around in that tube (you can straighten it for easier access) usually frees the blocakge and stuff plus the water rush out.

Seems silly replying to myself but I found the problem. My car is a 1995 Volvo 960 Wagon in line 6 cyclinder gas engine.

There is a rubber rectangular drain (very stretchy) from the bottom of the air conditioner unit on the passenger side of the Volvo 960 hidden behind the carpet. It is attached to a plastic cover to protect it.
I removed the glove box and panels above the knees and on both sides and peeled back the carpet and stiffening. The drain had come loose and the condensation was soaking the carpet and underlay and pooling in the well of the back seat on the passenger side. I probably loosened this myself as I had used the grommet that comes through the firewall to run a wire needed for my trailer hitch some time ago. The flexible drain turns ninety degrees and goes out through the firewall to drip onto the road
with the condensation when the air conditioner is being used. I have a picture if anyone is interested.
This problem only showed up when I had the air conditioning gas filled up to counter the unusually hot weather this summer in Calgary.
Finally have cold air again but it is very weak when using any vacuum such as climbing hills or harder acceleration.
Now that the unit cycles on and off (or is supposed to) my a/c relay is shorting out my battery. Have had to remove the relay
until I can try a new one. Aren't old cars fun?
