I'm looking for advice.
Told the dealership my alarm keeps activating and won't turn off, also my antenna wouldn't raise and clock reset. Light indicated a door was ajar (although it wasn't).
Dealership said "It's not an electrical problem"; replaced my siren, and told me my front end was out of alignment because of an accident (There hasn't been one) and that once i also replace my locking mechanism on the hood, the prob will be fixed.
Of course the same evening, the interior lights wouldn't turn on, and after driving for 10 minutes the locks locked/unlocked repeatedly and quickly for 1 minute, while the interior lights faded on and off.
What should I have the dealership check for? (they claimed they checked and found no electrical problems!)
I replaced the stereo fuse in engine compartment last month after i blew it when i jumped the car after the battery died. Alternator checked out fine at that time.
Any ideas you could offer about what's going on would be appreciated, as well as advice on what to tell the dealership.
Thanks in advance!
