I'll try and be as concise as I can without dragging this out, currently I have a 3rd Cylinder misfire code and am stumped on what the final solution would be. I have replaced all 5 coil packs, spark plugs, and the front O2 sensor. Car runs a lot smoother than it did prior to these fixes, but still not back to running at peak. Had a similar situation over this past Christmas and new set of spark plugs fixed it right up after about 75 miles on the interstate. I'm really hoping that it's not going to end up being a burnt valve, but with 230k miles I've come to grips that it is a possibility. Timing is in good shape, car just starts to sputter a bit and CEL starts flashing and kicks on once the car hits about 3000rpm. Thanks for the input and really enjoy the tips, pointers, and other miscellaneous material the site has to offer.

Next I would ohm test the injectors. If they are in spec, then check the coil pack and injector connectors for corrosion or short in the wire.
