I have mine running again. It's running smooth and has its power back with the replacement turbos. I actually drove it down the road and back. The smoke is lessening the longer I run it. my oil pressure light comes on under 2000 rpm's so today I will attempt to drain the oil and remove the oil pan and search for the answer for this issue. hoping it's not a bad oil pump or worse. It is holding coolant fine so I have my fingers crossed that it's not something internal. With the crud I found in the oil filter cap, I am wondering what is really in the bottom of the pan and the siphon tube...I'll see laer today
The inner tie rod end was easy to change. Take a look...

First of all, fantastic project. I bought a non-running 2000 T-6 in much worse shape for $1500.
I did a top end rebuild and had to sort out all sorts of issues to get it to quit smoking, most of it was
unburnt fuel from bad ignition coils. Watching your posts as you progress.
