Thanks yuckuJackD and Precopster for your quick response. Do you happen to have a link to the post where to solder the wires to, or are you referring to the picture of yuckuJackD?

Just another quick question before I go and cut the shaft tomorrow. It looks like there is no tight fit between the magnet and the shaft (see picture) is that going to be solved when I fix it under the bolt? Or do I have the wrong magnet / sensor?

Thanks in advance,
Nadja

The shaft at the bottom where is the carving is wilder, so when you cut it it'll be fine. Well, allmost... there still will be a 1 degree tolerance, but when you tight the nut it'll be strong.

p.s. precopster, i did the other unit, too. (uuuuur, while installing the throttle I made a short whith my ratchet between the "+" for the starter motor and the bolt of the throttle I was tightening, stupid-stupid-stupid)
Allmost same thing:
1. Measuting pins everithing seem fine
2. Тhru VIDA there is no measured results. Just freezed on 28-29 deg for both sensors.
3. New error codes, but old are gone. I'm telling them by memory:
-Emmision control system fault
-Reconfiguration system ***
For both in description of them is wrote that they are set in combination of other codes.

OK, time to start the car, hit the pedal and .... some more errors (again by memory)
-TPS signal too low
-TPS faulty current

Latter I'll make screenshots for exact DTC's.

rrrrrrrr, I'm looking for third unit, deam

Thanks again for the quick response. Reassuring :-).
I will keep you guys posted of the progress.

@ Yucku Jack. Wow, what a story. I myself hit the + of the starter motor. The cable of the ETM was going through the hole of the startrer motor clip and it was too big to push it through, so I had to loosen it up. A lot of sparks before I removed the - cable of the battery. Luckily I did not touch anything else, so I should be good.
(The reason why I did not disconnect the battery in the first place is because I do not have a remote and I am not sure now how to reset the faulty roof and windows codes, but that will be to resolve later).

@ precopster, I know the magnet was upside down. I did that to show the space between the shaft and the magnet.
Thanks again for your input.

Resetting the UEM is forced by lock/unlock the car several cycles (3 or 5) whatever with remote or with the kay, so you are good to go, for future safe repairs :)
One more thing - check that you got kay No.1 and you are able to open the trunk manualy in case you close it by habit.

p.s. I didn't remove the battery terminal because I was lazy and in hurry to find out is the repair good or no. So I was punished with the sentence never to find that out. I hope one day to tell around this story with smile.
