Are the 850 GLT's turbo or are just the badged Tubro models turbo? Im lookng to buy and I have been seeing all kinds of information

IN (note that this is the U.S. market only....I have not idea about other countries):
'93, the GLT had no turbo
'94, there was not GLT (that I know of)
'95 & '96, the GLT had no turbo
'97, the GLT had a lpt (low pressure turbo).
'98-'00 all 70 series GLT's had lpt.

In '93 there was no turbo period.
In '94 turbo's were supposedly badged so.
In '95 turbo's were badged either Turbo or T5-R.
In '96 turbo's were badged Tubro, or T5-R...there was also a Platinum edition that was pearl white that was badged turbo and had a lpt.
In '97 tubo's were badged Turbo, T-5 and R

im in the uk and mine is a

1995 estate/wagon T5 GLT, it only says T5 on the back but log book says GLT...i think GLT is the spec/trim level, cause the T5 CDs are the top spec...

thats uk anyway...

In '95 it was either turbo or not...open your hood and see if the intake air hose goes down towards the passenger side firewall (turbo) or straight across to the manifold (non-turbo).
