interior fabric coming loose

Post by Davepaw »

The interior fabric on the right A pillar of my 2004 XC90 is coming loose. Is there a proper adhesive to use to stick it back on? Will it actually stick, as the top layer of the foam backing has started to come off on the loose fabric.

The heat is the main concern. I would use Camie 303 or a 3M foam adhesive product. Thermo tech now makes a high heat adhesive but I do not have the specs on if it works on foam

The foam typically starts to crumble. So if you want it to stick you will need to get rid of loose foam. Best to replace the pillar.
