My passenger side mirror suffered a trauma yesterday that knocked off the cover and loosened the enclosed turn signal light. I thoughtlessly replaced the light and fitted the cover back in place without first checking that the signal was working - it's not. So, now I need to remove the cover and check the signal connection.
Anybody know how to remove the cover so that I can get back at the turn signal light?

Side Mirror Turn Signal
I know this thread has been stale for a while, but I just recently had to replace my passenger side mirror turn indicator lens and thought this may help.
My 2009, S60 2.5T passenger side mirror turn indicator lens is on the side of the mirror, not the bottom.
See post in "Volvo V70, XC-70, S60 (2001-2010)" Forums for "Side mirror turn indicator replacement- 2009-S60".
I've attached a detailed write-up.
