Wheel fitment for 2010 XC90 - older model wheels fit?

Post by zhenya »

We just got my wife a 2010 XC90 and I'm looking for some winter wheels to permanently mount snow tires on. I'd like to go to 17" for the savings in tire cost, and I've found a good price on a set of the flat 6-spoke wheels from the earlier XC90's. Any reason these won't fit?

Tire Rack lists 17" as an option for the 2010, and they sell the exact same model wheels for both the 2010 and the 2004 XC90's - same offset, back spacing, etc.

Just like to verify if anyone knows.

Thanks.

Hi, I did the opposite you want to. I had 16¨ (OEM) wheels and changed to 18¨ from another XC90, and no problem at all.

Hope this helps. Regards.

Thanks for that reply 007. I had already ordered the wheels, feeling pretty comfortable they would fit. Got them on yesterday and all is good!
