ive seen a few websites etc where the intercooler is connected up in reverse, why is this done??
is it, to reduce hose lengths?...and is it to do with hot air rises, cool air falls...as the intake to the manifold would come from the bottom intercooler outlet...
The turbo will spin up a bit faster. Some people do a conversion to this style but really there are few gains. In the earlier turbo's I understand they were all connected up this way but there was problems in the winter with the intercooler pipes freezing from the condensation and it was changed to the current day set-up.
