Engine Swap or tuning?

Hello,
I Have a question,
Is it possible to do an engine swap?
Like a Volvo 850 2.5 20V Engine?
Or a S40 2.0 Engine,
I want it because my 460 have a 1.6 83 hp engine and i want something faster and i want a volvo engine,
or is it possible to tune the 1.6i engine? and how much? ( I want around 100hp and more if possible and i like to have more torque)
maybe chiptuning or something else
