2005 Volvo V70 R MANUAL TRANS., Denver

Post by matthew1 »

(This is not my car. I don't know the owner, nor have I ever seen the car. It's just something I saw on Craigslist and thought someone here might be interested because it's a manual. Besides the manual transmission, I like the exterior color, the graphite interior, and blue leather. I don't think the price is particularly great, but it's not unreasonable. If I wanted to buy this car [I do, but haven't planned on a car buy, so it's out of the question], I'd offer $10,200 and see what he says. I had a 2004 V70 R auto, and liked it very much, FWIW. As always, do your homework. Here are tips on how to buy a used Volvo.)

2005 Volvo V70 R, Sapphire (Dark) Blue, 6 Speed Manual, 117,XXX Miles, Third Owner, Great condition, Well Maintained. No Mods. Just had Xenon lights replaced (over $100 per-bulb), new pads rotors turned and lines flushed ($500), regular service performed ($500) and oil changed ($67). Purchased Continental all-seasons tires last February (75%). I have owned this car since around 57,000 miles and have performed all scheduled and routine maintenance. I really do not need to sell this car. However, I am looking to go Japanese with a Subaru or Lexus. Car looks great, fun, fast and gets lots of looks on the road. Please, I value my time and your time. Inquire only if truly interested. I prefer to speak by phone 720.299.3562 than sending multiple emails back and forth. You may run a car fax on it to see it has a clear title.

Hi Matt and Happy Holidays!!

I bought a "new" 01 V70 T5. It's got to be shipped from Maryland to Oregon,,,pricey! At any rate none of the ads listed in the Cars for on MVS sale had a live person, or a bot for that matter, reply. At least the ones I was interested in. Either th  ey are gone or not really interested in selling.

Would you please cancel my ad (to BUY) and maybe do something about the great sounding cars that don't seem to be there?

I did wind up getting mine from a dealer on the east coast. I hope it's all as advertised. Anyway I'm anticipating spending some bucks on a chio, sways, maybe exhaust.

Happy holidays!!!

Thanks, Matt~

I'll be having a great parts sale soon. Just got the baby in my garage this afternoon and begin the stripping down of the outside to see what's still good on the inside.. We can begin with a great engine and trans, with IPD chip. I'll have lots of goodies to sell to help me "upgrade" my "new" V70 T-5! Stay tuned!

Thanks Matt.

The car above, from Denver, is posted but there are no replies.

The parts sale is going pretty well so far. but my purchase fell through. I'm back to looking in the northwest or even as far east as Denver (if you know of any nice ones in your area). Looking for something I don't have to sink a lot of money into to make it right. 97 T5 or R or 98-02 T5. Prefer manual. V70 or exceptioal 850.
