ARD tune o2 delete question

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

ARD tune o2 delete question

Post by RyanT5 »

Hey if anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated. Im planning on ordering an ARD green tune for my s70 t5 as well as an OBX tubo back system. I want the tune burned with the o2 delete. My question is if i install a tune with o2 deleted but have not yet purchased/installed the aftermarket catless exhaust will this cause any issues?

it shouldn't, iirc the rear o2 is only used to check cat efficiency

Ok thats what i figured but wanted an outside opinion. Last question (forgot to mention in first post) if i have the tune burned for a car that already has 3" downpipe, etc will it be safe to drive with the stock exhaust until i get it put on?

Correct, you can rear 02 delete as you like.

As for running a tune on the car without the parts installed, you can do it but the boost will likely be slightly less than target until the upgraded parts are installed :)

Hey as long as I'm not causing damage to my motor I can deal with not hitting target boost for a few weeks :) Thanks a bunch that answers my question!

I had the exact same setup on my Platinum, you're going to love it.
