Intermittant Wipers

Post by camper guy »

So this weekend it was misty out and I turned on my wipers to intermittant. Since it was a light mist, after the first couple of swipes it started to drag and irritate me, so I shut them off. Then it started to get a little rainy and I turned the wipers back on to intermittant again and they didn't work! Then it seemed like it took forever for them to cycle.

Low and behold, I've got an IPD wiper relay! When I was researching this car and looked up the IPD chip, I saw this relay they sell too and thought that might be nice to have and forgot about it till the rain. Definately worth the money, easy to operate and what a difference, 1.5 sec to 22 sec delay settings.

Ah, that sounds great. The non-tweakable wiper delay is most irritating. Could you post some more details on price and availability?

thanks.
