tires for 2003 v70wagon awd

I cannot afford to have $200 tires on my wagon at volvo here in santa rosa,ca. A local volvo guy is suggesting doral for $450 total mounted balanced everything as an affordable tire,the reviews i've seen are not great.Benedetti a local tire place is quoting me $150 for cooper bw zeon rs3-a total pkg $800.Another local place is saying sumitomo tour plus for $129,total pkg.$600.I'm waiting on volvo dealer to call me back with a more affordable tire...supposedly they may have one from korea.The roads out here are horrible in sonoma county....can anyone advise...i'm definitely out of my league...my husband is no help!!

www.tiredirect.com, www.discounttire.com www.tirerack.com, look around. They will ship to an authorized installer in your area. Also, got big box stores like BJ's, Costco, Sam's club there? Most of the time all they do is mount and balance, good prices. I've run Firestones on my 98 V70. Decent tire and not too expensive.
Tire Rack may sponsor this site too. I've bought tires mounted on new wheels from them for under 900 (not a volvo but alloy wheels)

I'm going to give costco a call.Dealer just called me about a hancook or dunlop for total pkg of $727.....oh cripes and of course I'm of the same sentiment about a dealer but I'm getting frustrated now...will keep checking posts..thank you ever so much!

They will be more expensive than anyone
Call Tirerack and speak with someone there. Tell them you want a decent, cheaper tire.
They will quide you through your options

I appreciate all help and have ended up at costco with a potenza re760 sport high performace....thank you again..kitchen detail is more my territory...i can make a mean volvo gumbo!
