Yongtek ELM 327 Bluetooth Obd2 Scan Tool

Has anyone had any experience with this product? It is a bluetooth scanner that can communicate with android or iphone.
I have ordered one and would like to find out about Volvo specific applications.

You sure about iPhone? Also, you need the Torque application (cheap $4.95), which you may be locked into with this hardware.

Essentially it's a generic ODBII connector, but "ELM 327" means that it talks via BlueTooth to any device that'll talk back. I bought a different one from Amazon (using the link, of course!) for about the same price. I'm not sure what apps are available for iPhone but I highly +1 Torque for the Andriod. It shows real-time info, let's you scan & reset CEL's, and also has a nice track recorder if you're doing some runs at the track.

About a year ago I looked hard for a good (affordable) iPhone solution -- and found nothing. Much changes in a year, so there might be something out there now. But Torque app ain't it.

I could be wrong about the iphone app, I thought that it said it was supported in the scan tool blurb. At any rate, I am using an android system, and hooked it up this evening. Pretty awesome. Now I just have to fix the faults

hi i bought ELM327 for my volvo.conected to my laptop via bluetooth but software can not find that obd2 adapter.can someone recomend working software or tell me wahat am doing wrong.car is volvo s80 2007.
