Change it in intervals via the "drain-and-fill" method. Remove the plug @ the bottom of the transmission, dump the pan, replace what fluid drains out, and repeat a week or two later 3-4 times.

99 non-turbo is the 5-speed auto.

mine says D 3 L i thought that is a 4 spd..

another issue i want to bring up.. when im driving, i get a small wheel shake up front. along with that a Clunk / tink noise once in a while, when i hit potholes and stuff in the road, (small ones..) and i realize when i brake, i get a heavy shake.. i was thinking maybe something in the fornt end was loose making it shake while i drive, and make it shake more when i brake.. not shure what it could be?

Odd. Our 99 na is a 5-speed auto.

99 was a split year. Later models had the 5 speed (probably those with VVT also).

Can the wheel shake and clunk/tink sound he's getting have anything to do with a faulty front anti-sway bar?
