When you got PO135 and replaced the O2 Sensor how often did it FIX versus NOT FIX the problem and get rid of the code?
Thanks!
Who has replaced O2 Sensor after getting PO135?

Mine never returned..just by replacing front sensor. It's a lucky dip if we don't check for air leaks, leaky injectors or excess fuel pressure but it sure feels good once that light turns off

Thanks for your reply, precopster. Just trying to make myself feel better about risking the pricey part. I will also check the resistance on the leads as you suggested elsewhere.

I have a new Denso O2 for sale; look in classifieds here on MVS or on eBay username precop6jv8, cheaper to MVS forum members through private sale, though

The p0135 code is very often a vacuum leak and not a problem with the O2 sensor. Like at least half the time.
It may be time to replace the sensor anyway, but if you haven't sprung for it yet then for sure spend some time hunting down vacuum leaks. Does your 2000 have the little elbow on the passenger side of the intake manifold? Common vac leak spot.

I have about 130K miles on the V70 with the P0135. I don't know if it has the vacuum tube elbow hiding on the passenger side of the engine. I have had a vacuum leak before in this car when a hose cracked but it caused different codes.

The 2000s were the first engines to dispense with the elbow on the left hand side of the inlet manifold. Of course there are others to investigate.
You could always try the Scotty Kilmer smoke test using a cheap cigar and mouth power. It should find leaks even if they are small. Have a second set of eyes looking as you blow.
