Wheel bearing time...

I have a bad wheel bearing and need to get a new one. Does anyone know my best option? The dealer just quoted me $212+

Pfft. Screw that.

You can get them online for around $90 last time I had to replace one.

I went with a FAG bearing - they're the OEM supplier; it just doesn't have a "Volvo" brand marking on it.

Edit: just checked; apparently they're $130 now. Bah.

I like Pelican Parts when they have OEM as the prices are good. $118.50 for a FAG brand (sounds like a Team America quote

)

On a real budget? How about $39.79 for super generic Pro brand at RockAuto

FAG is providing bearing to many AFT suppliers, wouldn't hurt to ask about the lower priced ones.
TIMKEN is FAG, it was below $90.

It was replaced back in 2001 with Oem Fag,so after 12 years.... not bad at all.I'll go with Fag everytime i need to replace wheel bearings.

The price for it,directly in "FAG" dealership,back in 2001 was 113eur.Now...12 years after,it is 100eur.

Volvo "Stealership" wanted 300eur for the same Oem Fag...then and now.

The stealership parts is competitive in open market. I agree, if you ask for service their markup on parts could be x3.

I am not able to order directly from the manufacturer such as FAG, you suggest otherwise.
