Wind noise from behind the dash?

Post by dufferdude »

I've searched and a couple things I have checked are the door seals and tape around the windshield. Fire wall looks to be normal. Pretty loud after 40MPH. Anybody else having this issue or had this issue and fixed it? Thanks

Sounds odd, for sure. Try running some painters tape around the edges of the window to see if that'll affect anything. You sure the noise comes from above the dash? There's a few holes in the firewall that may have opened up. One is near the wire harness under the dashboard - along with the ones for the steering and the pedals. There's another on the passenger side up near the blower, so it's a pain to access. Might help to locate it from the engine bay side. It'll be near the AC pipes.
