2009 xc70. I believe I will be the first to complain about the Volvo seats...but maybe this will sound familiar to someone...meaning, there is a problem with mine.
Simply put: I feel the seams in the seat under my bottom. There are side supports and two sections under your rearend. The seams that run from front to rear and the seam that separates the sections under your rump are prominent and really get annoying over time. Feels like when you have your keys in your back pocket. I tried a sheepskin seat cover, but (oddly enough), the seatcover was constructed with the same pattern...thus accentuating the problem.
I have owned 140, 240, 740, 760, P1800, S40...and now this XC70 purchased several months ago. First time this ever was a problem.

If there is a manufacturing issue with the seam itself- which is possible- there are not many solutions than to replace the seat.. .I haven't heard of such as yet. Perhaps there is some metal or plastic trim forgot under the seat cover by the guy at the factory or better, some money bricks from previous owner
