850 N/A tb mod boring question..
I bored my intake to fit the larger na throttle on it. It isn't the most perfect job. Doesn't feel like a perfect smooth circle. Since the bit I was using was only about a centimeter in diameter, it cut deeper in some place making the bore feel kind of lumpy. It isnt terrible, i was going to try to clean it up with some 80 grit sandpaper to get some roughness out. What did you guys who did this mod use to bore it? As long as the hole is large enough to accept the TB does it have to be perfectly round and smooth? Thanks!

So you bored out a turbo throttle body to fit the 960 plate? Just go to the junk yard and pick up an n/a throttle body and intake manifold.

I believe he enlarged the manifold opening to allow an N/A throttle body.shaker_chi wrote:So you bored out a turbo throttle body to fit the 960 plate? Just go to the junk yard and pick up an n/a throttle body and intake manifold.
