Changing the vacuum lines in my S70 and this check valve is inline from the manifold to a plastic T. It no longer works and I can't seem to find a part number for it anywhere. Anyone know what this is called and where I can get one?
More importantly, what happens when if fails? The car has been (to me) running fine but this check valve definitely does not work.
Thanks!

The part I'm looking for is actually between the manifold and purge valve and doesn't seem to be in this diagram.

1998 V70 AWD. But my 1998 S70 GLT has one as well. Both engines are B5254T's. (Although the purge valve and canisters are located in different spots on my V70 and S70 this part is in the same spot, coming off the manifold to the plastic T).

Is this helpful http://www.ipdusa.com/products/7946/115580-sas-air-injection-check-valvedeepsouth wrote:From what I understand from this photo it's an inline filter but in my V70 it also acts as a check valve (can only blow through it one way) but in my S70 that's not the case leading me to believe it's not working correctly.

No, that's not it. I've done the SAS delete on both cars and removed all the hardware, including air pump, check valve, and removed and capped vac lines on solenoid and tree.

Number 22 looks suspiciously like the part I'm looking for but it's not a check valve. I posted a photo below of the part circled on the engine. It'd definitely a check valve of some kind.

They both run great which makes me wonder what the purpose of the check valve is and if I even need it functioning. Thanks for the help!

Shoot. That's not it. This part is a definitely a check valve and the air in side has a much larger hose than the outlet hose (which runs to the manifold). I've attached a photo of the part's location and circled it in red.
