Trailer Hitch

OK so my factory hitch is technically for an AWD model and I have 2 WD. Vadis shows different parts and part numbers. Anybody know whether the AWD hitch will fit a 2WD model?

I still have the paperwork from my factory hitch on my 99 T5 FWD - Ill see if there is compat chart when I get home tonight.

The factory hitch paperwork shows the following

C70/V70/S70

Its Volvo Part number 9172311

The latest Volvo accessory catalog online....

....shows different part numbers for the Delbart Drag (tow bar) for the V70 and AWD though.

As near as I can tell, the part number shown on Vadis for the AWD drawbar is 9134247. That is the heavy duty one and the one I have. My car, is however, FWD, not AWD.

The tow ball (2") is 9124767.

What I need to know is whether I can use that drawbar in a FWD application -- will it fit?
