Need help with purchasing decision....

Appreciate all the quick replies and useful info. I decided to skip on that car after talking to the seller the second time and doing the phone walkaround. One of the things he mentioned that got my attention was "there's a little oil sweating on the engine"; that's where i knew i should pass, regardless how good the rest of the car looked. I don't believe in "oil sweating"; i think it's either a leak or it isn't, so there was no telling what else was hiding there...
And sorry (or not ) to say, but after fruitless search to find a used Volvo to my liking locally, i bit the bullet and got me a mint 06 Infiniti G35 sedan. A blast to drive, although it's not as insulated and comfortable as my wife's V70 (which by the way hasn't need anything but maintenance so far, so i'm very happy with it). Thanks all for your input.
