S-40 headlight replacement Topic is solved

I have a messed up driver's side headlight and the shop told me it would be about $450 to replace (approx 200 for the part 250 for labor). Now my question(s) is/are this/these:

1. I did some searching and found a headlight assembly for about $120, are there any other places where I can get one for cheaper or even a used one for less?

2. Is this a repair that I can do myself without much experience/tools or should I take it somewhere and see if they can do the labor for less than what was quoted? They said they would have to take off the whole front bumper in order to replace it, is there an easier way and if so where can I find instructions for doing so?

3. Should I just go to a new Xenon bulb assembly instead?

Don't have any how-to instructions... sorry. Try the parts place that you end up buying the light from. Or just buy from the place that has instructions.
