Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

To start modules in these newer cars properly you need to have ignition in PosII THEN connect battery.

Dshoover2, have you done the key lock trick? That where you put the key in the drivers door, lock and the unlock 3 times. That resets the "security system" Also check in engine compartment fuse / relay box, there are 3 or 4 torx head screws that hold the actual panel in, take those out and look under it, that's where Volvo hid all the main system fuses. Also could be a bad ignition switch, the electrical part that is, if you drop the lower plastic cover from the steering column, its on the side closest to the door, unplug it and see if all your lights go off..

The other poster is referring to the old P80 fuse panel location. What computers did you try?

You can't swap engine and transmission computers on a P2 series car. The original computers are mated to the car's VIN

More than likely a faulty CEM module.
