replacing bulbs

Post by eunice »

I just got a V70 in February. In only 7,000 miles I have already had to replace 5 bulbs. Is this common? How often should I expect to have to change bulbs?

it helps to get only branded bulbs.

continuing problems point to voltage regulator problem at the alternator, u can change this to see if this solves the problem.

There is a voltage regulator problem that results in blown bulbs on newer Volvos. If it is still under warranty, then take it to your dealer. They replaced a wiring harness on my Cross Country, but I'm still blowing bulbs, although not nearly as frequently as you.
