1998 s70 t5 Drive cycle doesn't complete.

P0455 was on, I replaced purge valve, reset the check engine light, I have driven the car for many miles over a month and it still hasn't complete the drive cycle. I connected the scanner and the ECM is still reseting. What could cause this? I have reset the light before and the drive cycle is complete in few days.

Gas tank full?

AC must be off for evap drive cycle, so if you are in a hot climate you might have to suffer for a few days. Mine takes about 70 miles to go Ready

The readiness monitors on these cars are a pain to get to reset. In some cases you need to pull the battery cable and start over. It is my understanding that most jurisdictions will exempt a Volvo 850 or 70 series from full readiness.

There is a specific drive cycle that Volvo prescribes to get them to set in the repair database.
