My 1998 S70 (210,000 mostly highway miles) appears to be sitting lower than normal. You can feel the tire hitting the wheel well when turning the steering wheel a few degrees to the right. Is it more likely the springs have sagged or the struts need to be replaced? Thanks.

Probably some of both. My struts were completely dead and the car sat close to the wheels, but not completely on them.
Unless you have oversized tires.

I took a closer look at the struts and noticed the right side bellows seems to have separated from the bump stop and the strut piston was exposed to the elements. I'm tempted to just replace the right side assembly to confirm that is the source of the problem. Or, is it wiser to do both sides since the older assembly might compromise handling? Thanks.
