2001 S40 CV Axle Bearing

Hi All,
Several months ago, I replaced the passenger the CV Axle. I bought it from Autozone instead instead of OEM because it was only $59.00. Last weekend, the shaft came loose from the bearing and came loose from the Trans. From what I can tell, the bearing clamp is the only thing that keeps the shaft in place. Is this true? Did this most likely happen due to a low quality part?
