2003 2.9 nonturbo, Misfire on number 4

2003 Volvo s-80 2.9 non turbo. Cylinder 4 misfire. New coil pack, new plug, swapped injectors with good inector, checked injector signal, tested compression and is 150 just like all other 5 cylinders. Cleaned out Varible valve timing solenoid. Checked for bad insulation around coil wires. Still have misfire cylinder 4. Cleared many times but always comes back as cylinder 4.

P.S. This only seems to misfire at idle. Runs like a top with acceleration.

Turns out its not the computer either. Put a reprogrammed computer in it and still the same thing. Out of clues and out of hair.

Obviously no one had any suggestions so instead of offering meaningless things to waste your time and money they said nothing. This is the first time I have seen it so any ideas I have from my experience would be moot.

I agree with JIMMY57. What is worse than NO INFORMATION, is BAD INFORMATION.
