Im hoping i can get a few ideas. the car will start fine, idle fine, and if you very slowly increase the throttle, it will rev up fine. if you go just a little too fast on the throttle, it bogs down and stalls. it makes it impossible to drive. there are no vacuum leaks, and i have yet to do anything. i was going to start with the fuel filter, and then move on to throttle position sensor. TPS is about $130 new, and i dont have a close yard to get a used one. Does anyone out there know how to test the current one?
If those two dont help, ill test fuel pressure and MAF sensor, but i was hoping theres a few of you out there who have had this problem before and can help me with any suggestions of what to do first...
Thanks!
Donnie

hi,
I would check in tank fuel pump and idle air valve if you have not already done so.
regards

Would it be the idle air control valve if the car is idling fine?
You've got the right idea: check the fuel pressure.
To check the throttle position sensor (all models except LH 3.1), listen for a click from the TPS when opening the throttle. If necessary, adjust switch by loosening and moving it back and forth.
Disconnect the wiring harness and check for continuity between terminal number 2 (orange wire LH 2.0, 2.2 or yellow/white wire LH 2.4) and ground. The meter should indicate continuity at closed throttle and open during acceleration.
Connect an ohmmeter between switch terminal number 3 (white/black wire) and ground. The meter should indicate continuity at wide open throttle and open at idle. If necessary, adjust the switch.

after a few checks, it ended up being the MAF sensor. One of the electrical connections was loose on the fuel pump as well, but did not contribute to the problem, just gave me a headache after i put new sensor on and then the car would not start...
Thanks for help...
