1995 Volvo 940 Hi Beam & Fog Light Won't Turn On

Haven't use both hi beam & fog light for a while. When I tried to turn them on yesterday, neither will come on. I first turned on the headlight (low-beam). Then I tried to turn on the hi-beam. It didn't come on. I checked both fuse and the light bulbs. They were good. Fog light also wouldn't come on.

Any suggestions?

Pull the Headlight switch and check it!

I did. The headlight switch is on. The low-beam works. But when I try turning on the hi-beam (flick the turn-signal lever), no lights at all.

Maybe your 940 has a headlight relay like the one on my 88 765. It was rectangular about the size of 2 regular relays.

I found this: Head light relay 740 85-92, 780 87-91, 940 91-95 (2 used on this car).
Bosch Blue Relay Volvo 1324749, Volvo 1235893, Bosch 0332-015-006.

Proper substitute for the old metal encased "K" relay (which is no longer available).

On these cars the relay is square, not rectangular.
