Hello everyone,
I'm trying to fix up my car a bit and want to remove the rear seat backs. I have looked all over various sitess and can't find instructions on how to do this. It looks like all i need to do is remove some Torx bolts on both sides, but there is not enough clearance to fit a tool to remove them. Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks

To remove the seat backs, you need to remove the whole pivot assembly, not the bolt at the pivot point. One bolt on each outer side of the backrest pivot - follow the visual part of the pivot down to the floor, then 3 at the inner backrest pivot- you'll need to move the lining in the boot thats behind the seats to get to one nut, then theres another two bolts down below the seat buckles. If you need I can snap a pic and post up of the removed seats so it gives you some idea
